lovely & proud physician- born to a family of shamans & healers in haiti. knows science doesn't explain everything. begs supplies shamelessly to take 3x/year to a poor haitian hospital. sang back-up on a girl-band cd, to satisfy her rock-star dreams.

Sounds like the perfect combination. I would have loved to have sung backup with a girl band. (Successful shamanism pretty cool too.)

I am here to tell you that if you harbor girl band back-up singer dreams and shaman urges...it is never....NEVER, ever too late. Life is large- and spread out like a feast waiting for us! :^)
She's an amazing lady. And involved in all kinds of cool things. She paints beautifully too! I want to be just like her when I grow up!!!
