bonded at silverlake farmer's market over her gorgeous blooms...
silverlake farms is her backyard! thought, upon meeting her, how deliciously randomly miraculous the world is- who'd have thought there could be someone as utterly besotted with sweet peas as me?

favorite tip from tara, the silverlake farms garden guru: cut sweet peas typically don't last very long, and are one of those cut flowers that benefit from a daily stem trimming and changing the water in your vase every day...but try adding a pinch of sugar to the water and let it dissolve. your sweet peas will get even sweeter and last longer- it really works! :^)
Oooo, thanks for the tip!
